Raku fired Raccoon

This little guy has been raku* fired, so all his coloration and character crackles are a part of his charm. This stoneware piece has been (American style raku fired) so that smoke has accented all the areas that aren't shiny with glaze - the smoke adds a charcoal color to the stoneware. This raccoon has an open back so that it can be used for a decorative container, or just a fun accent piece.

6" tip to tail, 4 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" wide

*Raku is not food safe and is intended to be used for non-food items or decor. Raku will hold up to outdoors, but could show signs of wear and tear in extreme weather conditions over time.
