I started making these jars when I was a teacher, and students would ask if I had a bandaid. I did, I had them in a nice jar sitting out on a cart in the classroom, but they could never 'find' the jar until I walked across the room and put my hand on it. So I decided to get 'obvious' and make a jar with the bandaid on the exterior (and the original one was also splattered with glaze 'blood' to really get their attention.) I never had a student not able to 'find' the jar after that!!! It also helped to put a smile on their face (and the colorful bandaids I filled it with, helped too.)
